Licensed Conformation classes:
Regular Classes. Classes for intact dogs.
- Puppy (6 mos., under 1 yr.)
- Junior (1 yr., under 2 yrs.)
- Adult (2 yrs + over)
- Open (6 mos + over)
- Breeder/Handler (6 mos. and up, handled by breeder)
- Champion (for dogs who have earned UKC CH title, only licensed class is Total Dog)
- Junior Showmanship Classes
Altered Conformation: Dogs that have been spayed or neutered
- Puppy (6 mos., under 1 yr.)

Non-Licensed Conformation classes:
Novice Puppy: This class is for intact dogs that are three (3) months of age and under six (6) months of age. All Puppy classes shall be divided individually by breed and by sex. Requirements: Purebred dogs that are permanently registered with UKC, have a valid TL, have a UKC litter registration number, or are not currently registered may enter.
Novice puppy is not divided by variety. For each breed, there are two classes. Novice Puppy Male and Novice Puppy Female. The winners of each class compete for Best of Breed Novice Puppy. Each breed winner competes for Best Novice Puppy in Show.
Veteran Class: The purpose of this class is to reward dogs that maintain good breed type and good condition as they age, and to give other breeders an opportunity to see the top dogs of the past. Dogs must be a minimum of seven (7) years of age, or older. Spayed and neutered dogs are eligible for this class.
Veteran is not divided by variety. For each breed, there are two classes. Veteran Male and Veteran Female. The winners of each class compete for Best of Breed Veteran. Each breed winner competes for Best Veteran in Show.
While we do not offer these, it's important to note UKC also has Brood Bitch and Stud Dog classes.

RO1 A is equivalent to Rally Novice A: This class is for a new handler and dog, where the handler has never titled a dog in traditional Obedience or Rally whether UKC or any other registry. Think novice dog and novice handler. A dog entered in this class must be handled by the owner or immediate family.
RO1 B is the equivalent to Rally Novice B: This class is for those who have titled dogs in Obedience, not necessarily the particular dog being handled this show. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered. Any dog that has earned the URO1 title is ineligible to enter the Rally RO1B class.
RO1 C: This class is for dogs that have earned a URO1. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered. This class is not elegible for High in Trial
RO2 A is the equivalent to Rally Advanced: This is for dogs that have obtained the URO1 title. Exhibitor has not earned a URO2 title, CDX title, or an equivalent Rally or Obedience title in any other organization. Dog has not earned a URO2 title, CDX title, or an equivalent Rally or Obedience title in any other organization. A dog entered in this class must be handled by the owner or immediate family.
RO2 B is the equivalent of Rally Advanced: This class is for dogs that have obtained the URO1 title. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.
RO3 A is the equivalent of Rally Excellent: This class is for dogs that have obtained the URO2 title. Exhibitor has not earned a URO3 title, CDX title, or an equivalent Rally or Obedience title in any other organization. Dog has not earned a URO3 title, CDX title, or an equivalent Rally or Obedience title in any other organization. A dog entered in this class must be handled by the owner or immediate family.
RO3 B is the equivalent to Rally Excellent: This class is for a dog that have obtained the URO2 title. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.
ROM A is the equivalent to Rally Masters: This class is for those dogs that have obtained the URO3 title.Exhibitor has not earned a UROM title, CDX title, or an equivalent Rally or Obedience title in any other organization. Dog has not earned a UROM title, CDX title, or an equivalent Rally or Obedience title in any other organization. A dog entered in this class must be handled by the owner or immediate family.
ROM B is the equivalent to Rally Masters: This class is for a dog who that obtained the URO3 title. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.

Advanced Novice: This class is for any exhibitor with a dog that has not earned an Obedience Champion (UOCH) title or its equivalent in any other organization. Exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.
Open A: The dog must have earned the Novice (UCD) title to enter. Dog has not earned an Open (UCDX) title or its equivalent in any other organization. A dog in this class must be handled by the owner or immediate family.
Open B: The dog must have earned the Novice (UCD) title to enter. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.
Advanced Open: Any ehibitor with any dog may compete in this class. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog enter.
Utility A: The dog must have earned the Open (UCDX) title to enter. Any dog that has not eared a Utility Dog (UUD) title or its equivalent in any other organization. A dog in this class must be handled by the owner or immediate family.
Utility B: Any exhibitor with any dog that has earned Open (UCDX) title or higher may compete in this division. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.
Pre-Novice: This class is for any exhibitor with a dog that has not earned a Novice (UCD) title or it's equivalent with any other organization. Exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.

Nosework Classes

NOSEWORK RULES AND REGULATIONS
*The information below is general guidelines, always reference the UKC Rules and Regulations.
The “A” Section. This section is open to all dogs that have not earned a title in the class they are entering or an equivalent title in another organization. The exhibitor must own the dog entered or be a member of the owner’s household or immediate family. Once the dog has earned the title in that class, they may no longer compete in the “A” section of that class but may continue to compete in the “A” section of any other class they do not hold a title. No licensed or professional Nosework/K9 Detection instructor, regardless of the person’s status as an amateur or professional, may compete in this section. No person licensed to officiate Nosework in UKC or any other organization may compete in this section.
The “B” Section. Any dog or handler is eligible to compete in B section of a class. Dog and handler teams may continue to compete in this section indefinitely. The exhibitor does not need to own the dog entered.
There are four individual or specific Elements and five “target odors” separated into classes. Each element and target odor must be earned consecutively.

To earn an Element title a dog must receive two (2) passes at two different UKC licensed Nosework Element trials. A pass requires the successful completion of all hides within the class and not more than one (1) fault. Element titles may be earned in any order within each class. There is no restriction on the number of passes that may be earned under the same judge.
*Owners may not enter more than one dog in the same class of a specific element but can enter the same dog or a different dog in a different class of the same element at the same trial. (i.e. Jane Doe cannot enter both Rex and Fido into a Novice Container class at the same trial, but she can enter Rex into Novice Container class and Fido into an Advanced Container class at the same trial or enter Rex into the Novice Container class and Fido into the Novice Exterior class.)
Nosework Titles. Once a dog has earned all four elements (Containers, Interior, Exterior, and Vehicles) in each class, they will be granted Nosework titles. These titles must be earned successively.
The “A” Section. This section is open to all dogs that have not earned a title in the class they are entering or an equivalent title in another organization. The exhibitor must own the dog entered or be a member of the owner’s household or immediate family. Once the dog has earned the title in that class, they may no longer compete in the “A” section of that class but may continue to compete in the “A” section of any other class they do not hold a title. Once a dog has earned all four elements (Containers, Interior, Exterior, and Vehicles) at the Advanced level they will be granted an Advanced Nosework (AN) title. Once a dog has earned an Advance Nosework title, the dog may continue to compete at the Advance Nosework level indefinitely, but only in the “B” section.
- Superior Nosework Title (SN). The Advanced element title must be earned within that element before the dog is eligible to enter the Superior Element class. Once a dog has earned all four elements (Containers, Interior, Exterior, and Vehicles) at the Superior level they will be granted a Superior Nosework (SN) title. Once a dog has earned a Superior Nosework title, the dog may continue to compete at the Superior Nosework level indefinitely, but only in the “B” section.
- Master Nosework Title (MN). The Superior element title must be earned within that element before the dog is eligible to enter the Master element class. Once a dog has earned all four elements at the Master level, they will be granted a Master Nosework (MN) title. Once a dog has earned a Master Nosework title, the dog may continue to compete at the Master Nosework level indefinitely, but only in the “B” section.
- Elite Nosework Title (EN). The Master element title must be earned within that element before the dog is eligible to enter the Elite element class. Once a dog has earned all four elements at the Elite level, they will be granted an Elite Nosework (EN) title. Once a dog has earned an Elite Nosework title, the dog may continue to compete at the Elite Nosework level indefinitely, but only in the “B” section.
Total Dog: Dog must qualify in Obedience or Rally and beat competition in Conformation winning one of the following classes (Best male/female, Best of Winners, CH, GrCH, BOB, Group 1-4, BIS, RBIS) (must beat competition) on the same day.
